Katy Perry Booed Over Love for Justin Bieber

Katy Perry has covered such songs as “Only Girl (In the World)” by Rihanna, “Big Pimpin’” by Jay-Z, “Whip My Hair” by Willow Smith and Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” on her California Dreams tour. Fans were pleased by the “Firework” singer, 26, when performing those past hits but they’d rather not hear a cover Justin Bieber, Monsters and Critics reports.

According to U.K. Mirror, during a concert in London’s Hammersmith Apollo Friday when Perry suggested to sing a cover of a Bieber song, the crowd booed her with the mere mentioning of the singer’s name.

Perry, a Belieber herself, defended Bieber saying, “Justin is mine and Russell’s adopted son. We love him dearly. Don’t boo him, guys. Come on.” She added, “I know all the cool kids came to this show tonight.”

Perry didn’t sing Bieber, instead she sang an acoustic version of Rihanna’s “Only Girl.”

Ellen Gives Selena Gomez A Justin Bieber Pillow

The 18-year-old entertainer was given a special present from Ellen - a pillow with Justin Bieber’s face on it so she won’t miss him while he’s on tour!

During the interview, Ellen also showed a clip fromSelena’s last visit where she brushed off romance rumors by describing Justin as her “little brother.”

“What do you have to say now?” Ellen asks.

“I don’t know. I don’t know … I didn’t lie to you!”Selena responds with a laugh.

Justin Bieber Wants To Play Oliver Twist in "Oliver!"

Justin Bieber is interested to take the role as Oliver Twist in a remake of the classic 1968 British musical film “Oliver!”. He considers his difficult childhood would help him fit the role better. The pop star believes he has been through enough catastrophes to understand how Charles Dicken’s street urchin felt.

The “Baby” singer was raised in a basement council flat in Canada by his reformed junkie mother after his father left them. He remarked, “That place was really dirty. We had mousetraps everywhere because here were mouses, uh, mice, in the house. I didn’t have a real bed. I slept on a blue pull-out couch in my room”. He added, “We didn’t have anything in the fridge, except maybe luncheon meat for school and macaroni and cheese. I’d love to play Oliver Twist”. But despite his desire, Bieber is actually about seven years too old for the role.

Selena Gomez‘s current boyfriend made his first attempt in the film industry by launching a self documentary titled “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” in February. The movie has been a worldwide smash as well. Additionally, his acting during guest stints on American crime series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” pulled in impressive reviews. Nevertheless, he has admitted he needs to practice to make English accent perfect. He said, “I can do it a little bit but I’m not amazing at it. When I try it, it sometimes comes out a bit Australian”.

“Oliver!” was an Oscar and Golden Globe winning movie which was based on Charles Dickens’ fabled novel “Oliver Twist” created in1969. At that time, Mark Lester was the one who played role as Oliver Twist. Ever since the movie became a big success, there have been numerous attempts to bring the famous novel to life on the big and small screens.

Justin Keeps Fit on Tour

No matter where he is Justin Bieber likes to keep fit. Even while he is on his My World Tour Bieber likes to stay in tip top shape with the help of a personal trainer.
Last year photos were taken of the ‘Baby’ hitmaker at a backstage gym in Greenville, NC on Dec 16 of last year, Bieber 17 worked with trainer Dolvet Quince by perfecting his physique by doing chinups, bench presses, stretches and much more. Turns out while fans are not watching Bieber he doesn’t mind showing off. In fact the star loves to run around with his shirt off all the time, Never Say Never director John Chu revealed. Reportedly Justin even showed his stomach to Rihanna earlier this year. Rihanna tweeted about the experience saying “”Justin Bieber just flashed me his abs. Wow! He actually had a li’l six pack!”
Although working out is not the only way Bieber stay healthy and happy. He eats very well and very rarely indulges in junk food. While he may indulge occasionally on food like Doritos and Fruit Roll-Ups he balances that out by having healthy meals.
